He founded Connell Media, which publishes free web magazines and develops useful tools and calculators. Its publications include WritingTips.org, FreelanceWritingJobs.com, StoicQuotes.com, and CreditBuildingTips.com.
Connell also founded American Digest Media, a large network of news sites covering business, crime, and political news, with email newsletters distributing its publications to readers. The network includes Conservative Institute, which he founded in 2017.
Earlier in his publishing career, Connell founded Conservative Tribune, acquired by Liftable Media in 2015.
